MJMS Community Update: February 20, 2026
Principal's Message: Students and staff successfully completed a tornado drill this week, following all safety procedures with excellence. Principal Nachand expressed appreciation for the community's commitment to safety.
Bus Transportation Updates: Driver illnesses and a limited number of substitutes have caused recent bus delays. The school will continue to communicate anticipated delays to families. If delays persist, FOCUS time rotations will be adjusted so students can review academic content missed due to late arrivals.
Testing Schedules Final practice tests (TE21 Benchmark) begin next week to prepare for April TCAP testing. Testing occurs in the morning after homeroom. Students on late buses will have opportunities to eat breakfast and settle in before testing.
